The Grand Duke

The grand duke is a minor character in the film, but he plays an important role in helping Cinderella find her prince. When the king declares that all eligible maidens in the kingdom must try on the glass slipper left at the ball, it is the grand duke who rounds up all of the women and brings them to the palace. He is also the one who eventually figures out that Cinderella is the mystery princess when she flees from the palace before midnight.
