Beautiful beaches, national parks, stunning harbour. There is always something happening from surf carnivals to beach volleyball to jazz festivals and food and wine festivals. Get on the ferry at Circular Quay and go to Manly for the day. Enjoy the shops, beach and take the 15 min walk to Shelly beach. The stores along the beach are amazing. They have Starbucks, Ben and Jerry’s and some lovely restaurants. The beach is safe fun and is a nice place to relax after a week of hectic work. I want to go here frequently and wouldn’t mind living there. There are lots of eateries lining the back area of the beach and definitely a place for lunch. There is a lovely walking trail alongside the beach all the way to the main area of town. The beach is manned by lifeguards and there are plenty of places that we could see for surfers.
