The staff are friendly, and it has a great ambience. Good selection of beers and wine. One of the best steaks I've had in ages, including at expensive steakhouse type places. It was really impressive. Good service. Reasonably priced. I liked it a lot, and I will be back. Happy to pay a little extra to receive a huge return on great food, top customer service and a feeling of welcome. I’m not sure if the locals will like such an insight made public. It’s this very point that I’m torn. Five transparent tents with white frames and fairy lights transformed the lawn into a fun and slightly magical place to spend an evening. Comfortable seats and blankets in each weather proof igloo created a cosy atmosphere. Attentive service ensured we always had food and drinks.\\n\\nThe Chef's Tasting Plate was generous and came with a beverage, selection of cold cuts and antipasto plus a chocolate fondue that you need a spoon (or a ladle?) for. The Goat Curry was generous and tasty but a little tough.\\n\\nIt was a great way to enjoy 3.5 hours at the pub.
