Then it was the blue trains and now the more modern trains. The trams that pass by have also improved in those 40 years. Flinders St has an abundance of small little takeaway cafes whether sushi or burgers. It’s known as a meeting point ‘under the clocks’ on those well worn steps. Customer service is excellent with staff spread around the station everywhere and information displays cover the walkways with service information updated real time. Accessing platforms and navigating is also a breeze with signage posted at every corner along with the staff.
