The Nightmare Before Christmas is a stop-motion animated film produced by Tim Burton, directed by Henry Selick, and released by Touchstone Pictures in 1993. The story follows Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town, as he becomes disillusioned with his annual Halloween routine and stumbles upon Christmas Town. Jack becomes enchanted with the holiday and decides to bring it back to Halloween Town, but his well-intentioned efforts lead to unexpected consequences.
