Maintained by Latimer Tuition, a UK online tutoring agency. Our own educational resource is identified below.

Start with your exact qualification, exam board and specification. Choose one topic, answer a short set of questions without notes, mark it, and make the next session address one mistake.

\[Ofqual register\](https://www.gov.uk/find-a-regulated-qualification): check recognised qualifications in England and Northern Ireland; use the separate Wales or Scotland routes where appropriate.

\[BBC Bitesize\](https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize): use the correct level and exam board, read a short explanation, then test recall.

\[AQA\](https://www.aqa.org.uk/) and \[OCR\](https://www.ocr.org.uk/): read your specification and use official assessment materials for that qualification.

\[Latimer Tuition Ed Centre\](https://latimertuition.com/ed-centre): use a topic guide to revisit a gap, then check understanding with your own exam-board questions.

Allow 20–30 minutes: 5 for recall, 10–15 for questions, and 5–10 for marking and a written correction. Check current assessment rules with your school and awarding body.

## Items

### 1. [Ofqual: confirm your regulated GCSE or A Level qualification](https://listium.com/@latimertuition/150595/gcse-and-a-level-study-planning-resources/0/ofqual-confirm-your-regulated-gcse-or-a-level-qualification)

Item ID: `0`

- Notes: Use this register before choosing revision materials: match the qualification title and awarding organisation to the information from your school. GCSE, AS and A Level qualifications in England and Northern Ireland are covered; the GOV.UK page also points to the separate Wales and Scotland registers. A regulated qualification record confirms recognition, but it does not replace your exam board specification or identify which topics your class has completed. Keep the exact qualification title in your study plan.

### 2. [BBC Bitesize: topic revision and short quizzes](https://listium.com/@latimertuition/150595/gcse-and-a-level-study-planning-resources/1/bbc-bitesize-topic-revision-and-short-quizzes)

Item ID: `1`

- Notes: Choose your subject, level and exam board before using a Bitesize topic. Read a short section, close it, and write three key points from memory. Check what you missed, then answer the practice questions without looking back at the explanation. Record one misconception and try a fresh question on the same idea in your next session. Use Bitesize alongside the actual specification; coverage and question style may not match every qualification.

### 3. [AQA: qualification specifications and assessment resources](https://listium.com/@latimertuition/150595/gcse-and-a-level-study-planning-resources/2/aqa-qualification-specifications-and-assessment-resources)

Item ID: `2`

- Notes: If AQA awards your qualification, find the precise subject specification and check its qualification code, issue date and assessment structure. Turn one specification statement into a question you can answer from memory. Follow with official assessment questions and mark them against the corresponding mark scheme. Write a correction that explains why your answer lost credit. For timed practice, use the paper and instructions for your exact course; ask your teacher before using unfamiliar options.

### 4. [OCR: qualification specifications and past assessment materials](https://listium.com/@latimertuition/150595/gcse-and-a-level-study-planning-resources/3/ocr-qualification-specifications-and-past-assessment-materials)

Item ID: `3`

- Notes: If OCR awards your qualification, start with its exact specification and choose assessment materials for that course. Match the paper, component and tier where relevant before practising. Attempt a short question set without notes, then compare with its matching mark scheme. Distinguish missing subject knowledge from command-word mistakes and incomplete explanation. Use the examiner material to refine how you show your reasoning, while checking current assessment guidance with your school.

### 5. [Latimer Tuition Ed Centre: GCSE and A Level learning guides](https://listium.com/@latimertuition/150595/gcse-and-a-level-study-planning-resources/4/latimer-tuition-ed-centre-gcse-and-a-level-learning-guides)

Item ID: `4`

- Notes: This resource belongs to the publisher of this list, Latimer Tuition. Choose an Ed Centre topic guide that addresses a gap you identified in marked work. Read the explanation, write your own example without copying, and check the method against your course materials. Finish with an exam-board question so you test transfer rather than familiarity with the guide. The guide is supplementary educational material: your qualification specification, teacher and awarding body remain the sources for assessment requirements.
