the last week","text":"During our visit, there were a lot of students that made me miss having field trips back then. It's fun going here because you can buy deer crackers fur ¥150 to do some feeding, but be careful as well; the chase is fun but some deer bit and pull clothes. No worries though, slight tugs only. One of them got aggressive and started swinging their head at me so I threw a cracker at him/her and ran.\\n\\nTake photos and enjoy the company of the deer. Bowing heads together is so much fun! This is well known for it's Five Story Pagoda, which is said to be the second tallest pagoda in Japan (The tallest being the one in Toji Temple, Kyoto). This is also known to be a main landmark and the symbol of Nara with a great history that runs way back to 730 during which, it was initially built. Entrance to the temple grounds is free of charge. You have the shrine with the bell Nanendo on one side and the main Kofukuji Temple and the five Tiered pagoda on the other. Really amazing wooden structures that just look so old.
