In this list, I have rated my favorite beaches and sorted them by City, State, safety, and my overall rating.

- Review: More than 8 kilometers of fine sand, pounding music and a steady sea breeze, this beach has something for everyone. There's a lot of interesting people and a lot to do for every visitor.  The strong wind and high salinity in the sea and sand will be a killer for your electronics.

- Review: A place famous for its laid-back vibe, outstanding kitesurf and secret nocturnal parties. Looks good, always windy. The beach goes on forever. This place is a unique landscape and it's enough to keep you occupied for at least a few days. If nothing else, stay for the food.

- Review: It's a tourist beach. Just enjoy the caipirinha, lean back and appreciate the view. If you want to loose the crowds just keep walking towards the end of the beach. Stay for the sunset.

- Review: You need a boat to get there, but the journey has an amazing view. You can even stop for a little swim. Famous for its calm waters, making it a decent snorkeling spot. And if you're in for a three minute walk, you'll find a more secluded part just next door. The beach itself is not very interesting , people just come here to listen to some music and have a few beers and that is pretty charming as well. A pretty cool place.

- Review: Apart from being gorgeous, Abrãao has got a laid back vibe and no traffic. Just don't rely on the one single ATM to work, bring cash. Wherever you choose to stay, you'll find yourself surrounded by lush nature. This is not a place to be cheap. From the night life, expect a cozy relaxed vibe and not a lot of party. The quality of food and driks are really great. Expect some late rains.
