- Notes:
  > Special educators who are lit up by passion and possess the necessary experience can make a real difference to youth with disabilities. You can help recruiters see your drive by presenting yourself as receptive and confident during interviews. To achieve this, prepare a set of possible questions you may be asked and practice them with someone close to you until you begin to sound natural and confident.

  > It is also a good idea to recall any experiences you’ve had in the past where you were able to make a significant difference for any of your students. Even if you don’t end up recounting these instances during your interview, simply jogging your memory and reviewing those experiences for yourself can offer a major pulse of confidence and remind you why you do what you do.
