Ravi Teja is a popular Indian actor and producer who primarily works in Telugu cinema. He has gained a reputation for his roles in action comedies, and is considered one of the highest-paid actors in the Telugu film industry. Throughout the 1990s, he appeared in minor or uncredited roles in various films, including Allari Priyudu and Ninne Pelladata. He also served as an assistant director for several films. However, he gained recognition for his performance in the 1999 film Nee Kosam, for which he won the Nandi Special Jury Award. He subsequently became a leading actor, starring in commercially successful films such as Itlu Sravani Subramanyam, Avunu Valliddaru Ista Paddaru!, and Idiot.
