Typically, badlands biome is very dry and has very few sources of water, so imagine my surprise when I spawned next to a clear blue lake amidst the rocky hills. More than that, you’ll find a desert temple hovering over the lake on the edge of the cliff at coordinates X: 216 Z: -136. The rest of the area is quite empty, and the only village I could find was at coordinates X: -544 Z: 368.

Small islands are always predictable, but when you spawn on a big island, there are always a few surprises. Here’s one of the most unusual spawns I’ve ever encountered. The game will drop you right at the bottom of a ravine that has an exposed mineshaft ready to be used. I suggest finding a loot chest as quickly as possible to get some weapons and gear, as there are going to be lots and lots of mobs running around as soon as it goes dark.

If you like the idea of having a village with a blacksmith inside the mountain ring but wish there was no woodland mansion, then this seed will match you perfectly. Note that there’s an igloo near the village at coordinates X: -152 Z: -296, although it has no basement. I also managed to find another village outside the crater at coordinates X: -240 Z: 224.

This portal will take you to the area right between two bastion remnant housing units at nether coordinates X: 272 Z: 288 and X: 544 Z: 144. Also, be sure to check out a cool acacia village on the savanna plateau nearby at coordinates X: 384 Z: 352.

Pink cherry blossom trees are the prettiest types of trees in Minecraft. Here, you’ll spawn right next to a patch of cherry trees, a village, and an exposed ruined portal. There’s also a trial chamber under the village at coordinates X: 57 Y: -27 Z: 217. If you travel a bit up north, then you’ll find the second village at coordinates X: 176 Z: -272.

I spawned in a village with a peculiar hut that had an almost finished ruined portal embedded in its wall. The portal was still functional, so it didn’t create any problems for me traveling into the nether. Since the village is located on the bank of a river, I was hoping to find some buried treasure, and I did find one chest at coordinates X: -23 Z: 329.

Spawn in one of the rarest biomes in the game, known as old-growth spruce taiga. I immediately noticed lots of exposed lush caves at spawn, which I started to follow.
