I develop SpriteGen, a browser tool for creating sprite sheet animations. Use these seven checks before importing generated sprites into a game.

1. Check frame dimensions: every cell should have the same width and height; configure the importer to match.

2. Check the grid: sheet width and height must fit whole cells; confirm row order and remove accidental spacing.

3. Check the anchor: feet and body should stay aligned across frames to avoid animation jitter.

4. Check consistency: clothing, colors and silhouette should remain recognizable throughout the action.

5. Check transparency: preview on light and dark backgrounds to catch halos or unwanted background pixels.

6. Check the loop: play first-to-last and last-to-first transitions; tune playback speed for the intended action.

7. Test in the engine: import at the intended scale, choose appropriate filtering and review the animation in the actual scene.
