I really don't like these crochet hooks because they lack ergonomic handles, which causes me wrist pain. They're too basic for my liking and slow down my crocheting. Even though they're common, I find them uncomfortable, especially considering my young age.
I really dislike plastic tapestry needles. The ones with big eyes break easily, and if they have small eyes, it's hard to thread the yarn. They're flimsy, and I find they often snag the yarn, which is annoying and disrupts my work. I wouldn't recommend them for detailed projects.
I'm not a fan of regular plastic stitch markers. They're hard to open and close and tend to snag the yarn, which I find really frustrating. Their design just doesn't work well for me, and they make my crocheting less enjoyable. I think there are much better options out there.
I can't stand non-retractable tape measures. They're inefficient, get tangled easily, and are a hassle to store. I've had them roll all over the place, and my little siblings sometimes play with them, which just adds to the chaos. In my opinion, they're just not practical for crocheting.
I find metal gauge rulers to be the worst. When I use them with my metal hooks, they make this hideous scraping sound that I can't stand. It feels like I'm scratching up the metal, which is really unpleasant. I wish I had a different type, as this one just doesn't feel good to use.

My absolute favorite crochet hooks are the Clover Amore. Their ergonomic design is so comfortable, and they've lasted through the over 800 items I've made. They show hardly any wear and make crocheting a breeze for me, whether I'm working on simple or complex projects.
I prefer metal tapestry needles as they're much more durable and user-friendly. They have a big enough eye for easy threading and a blunt end that's perfect for weaving in ends without damaging my work. I find they provide a smoother finish and make my crocheting experience much more enjoyable.
The Clover Amor stitch markers are amazing! They open and close so smoothly and are really durable. I've used them for over a hundred projects, and they're still in great shape. They don't snag my yarn at all, which makes my work go much smoother. I'd definitely recommend them to any crocheter.
I love retractable tape measures. They're so much more efficient and easy to store. While they're not ideal for super precise measurements, like in gauge swatching, they're perfect for general use in my crochet projects. I'm particularly interested in the beautiful designs from Coco Knits.
I would definitely recommend a non-metal gauge ruler. They don't make that awful scraping sound with metal hooks, and they feel much gentler. I think they're a practical tool for any crocheter who wants to measure hook sizes comfortably without the unpleasant sensation of metal on metal.
My go-to scissors are these Fiskars ones. They open and close with a simple lever, stay shut when I need them to, and are super sharp. I use them all the time, especially for tasks like making pom-poms. They've never let me down, and I'd highly recommend them for their quality and reliability.
I absolutely love my Blue 80s crochet project bag. It's super high quality, with many pockets and yarn holes for easy access. The design is versatile, allowing me to use it as a backpack or a regular bag. It's spacious enough for all my tools and projects. I've been using it for almost a year, and it's fantastic.
I decided to invest in a high-quality ball winder, and I chose the Stanwood. It clamps to the table, which makes it so stable and efficient. I've had it for over two or three years, and it's still working beautifully. It's a bit of a splurge, but for someone like me who values efficiency, it's totally worth it.
These Boy brand finger guides are a lifesaver! They're silicone rings that come in different sizes for different yarn weights. They prevent that annoying rug burn I get on my finger from crocheting for long periods. They're a must-have for me, especially during those marathon crocheting sessions.
My Damero crochet hook case is perfect for keeping everything organized. It has two zipper pouches, allowing me to separate my hooks by size. I also store my stitch markers and scissors in it. It's so handy to have everything in one place and easily accessible. I think it's a great choice for any organized crocheter.
I've had the Coco Knits maker board for about a year, and it's amazing. It's magnetic, so I can stick all my tools on it, like scissors and darning needles. It's especially great for keeping patterns in view while I work. It's like a home base for all my crochet tools, and I'd highly recommend it to keep things organized.
