What's fascinating is that even though the Series 9 Pro isn't explicitly designed for professional use, its durability is exceptional. I can personally vouch for its sturdiness – I've owned one for seven years, enduring heavy usage of 10 to 20 cuts a day. This shaver also held up after being submerged in water, truly a testament to its build quality. It's even made its way into barber shops, where its reliability is well-regarded. If Braun decided to target the barber industry, they could potentially dominate the scene.

Let me tell you, this shaver is in a league of its own when it comes to comfort. I've used it for bald shaves and shaping the top of the face, and it's been an awesome experience.

I'm really pleased with how Wahl has made a comeback with this new shaver. It's been about seven years since their last release, and I'm genuinely liking what they've brought to the table. This shaver encompasses all the essential elements – from the battery life indicator to its tactile feel and the textured bumps on the back – everything you'd want in a shaver is right here, except for a couple of things.

I noticed the motor speed is slower than some other shavers on the list. This meant I had to use a more deliberate shaving technique. Despite this slower movement, the shaver still managed to deliver a thorough cut. It's just a minor adjustment I needed to make in my approach, but it's worth mentioning.

This shaver falls short in terms of battery life, receiving a mere two stars due to its limited runtime. Comfort-wise, it also garners two stars, proving to be the least comfortable among the shavers in the list. On the positive side, it excels in providing a close shave, earning five stars, while its speed ranks at three stars. Overall, it tallies 15 points.

Despite its lower rating, I do find some redeeming qualities in this shaver. Its compact size, foil head design, USBC charging, battery life indicator, and magnetic top are noteworthy features.

However, the downsides are noticeable. Offering only 60 minutes of battery life seems like a missed opportunity. The relatively high price tag compared to other models is hard to justify. The machine's vibration during use feels uncomfortable and suggests lower quality. Additionally, the central cutter often pulls out hair, making close cuts problematic and leaving the scalp red post-use.

This shaver's standout qualities include its impressive battery life and strong overall performance, which made it the winner last year.

However, there are a couple of areas for improvement. It would be great if BaByliss could standardize their chargers across different models for user convenience. Additionally, while some might find the shiny finish not to their liking, a Black Version is reportedly in the works. This shaver is a standout choice, particularly for professionals. Its endurance is impressive – I've gone a week without needing to charge it, showcasing its reliability.

The Stylecraft Rebel shaver is a great contender, offering a winning combination of cost-effectiveness and high performance. Its capability spans all hair textures, demonstrating exceptional speed and performance. Its compact size and non-reflective matte finish are also standout features.

If there's an area where improvement could be sought, it would be the battery life. It would be wonderful to see enhancements in this aspect, along with the addition of various battery life options.
