This is a good leather tooling kit for a beginner trying to get enough tools to get start DIY leather work, that can meet your basic needs for leather craft, clothing, purses, canvas, webbing, jacket etc.

The basic amazon tool kit was the perfect place to start for me since I wanted to do pretty basic leatherworking: making wallets, bags, everyday carry stuff that type of thing. None of these tools are all that great but they do work and the price is hard to beat.
