All The Essentials You Need to Start Your Home Gym

I first discovered the glory of owning my own personal home gym over a decade ago. I had been working out for about a year at the time and I knew I wanted to eventually reach my own potential and I decided it didn't make too much sense to keep paying gym dues and keep wasting time commuting to and from the gym every day when I had a perfectly viable garage available that could house whatever equipment I wanted.

And with the advent of COVID-19 and the pandemic, it seems that more and more people (beyond the stereotypical garage gym hermits) have started to realize the merits of home gym ownership when it comes to both maintaining and maximizing their fitness. Whatever your personal reasons are, there are a myriad of benefits to home gym ownership and, better still, getting your own gym started does NOT have to break the bank. All you really need is a little bit of disposable cash and a little bit of space to stash everything!

This is a list of all the equipment I recommend, categorized by use. Use the filter below to sort through the information, and view it in a way that best suits your needs.
