Currency Conversion
Airwallex allows people to have accounts in multiple currencies. This enables online transactions and deposits into brokers.
Airwallex's main use in this context is for currency conversion and as a conduit. For example, to trade US stocks, an investor might use Interactive Brokers. The investor could deposit USD into interactive brokers, rather than bearing fees and costs exchanging within interactive brokers.
As with any bank account, it is important to ensure that you are comfortable with the bank in which Airwallex keeps your funds.
