Emerging Writers’ Festival - Monash Prize
Monash University in collaboration with the Emerging Writers’ Festival is proud to present the Monash Undergraduate Prize for Creative Writing, a prestigious prize for emerging literary voices. Now in its sixth year, the Prize is a significant literary award for new and emerging writers. The prize is open to both Australian and New Zealand university students, enrolled in either an undergraduate or honours degree. All types of creative writing will be accepted, including short stories, non-fiction narrative and narrative verse.

IMPORTANT DATES Opening date for entries: Wednesday 1 March 2017 Closing date for entries: 11:59pm, Wednesday 12 April 2017 Shortlist announced: Monday 1 May 2017 Winner announced: Wednesday 14 June 2017 ELIGIBILITY Any student enrolled in an undergraduate or honours degree at any university in Australia or New Zealand may enter. A student number and course code is required to enter.
