Bright, punchy and very articulate. Great for a variety of styles, but not as traditional in sound.

Metroline PJ 5 String Bass

A great range of P to J style tones. Modern electronics to boost the top and bottom end and help the bass fit into the mix.

Quite exciting. Piezo gives it an almost acoustic guitar type sound, adds a little bit of edge or a little bit more definition when recording. Neutral tone of the pickups.

Recommendation: Learn the electronics of this bass, because it can go a lot further than you'd expect. Performs well on gigs.

PJ tones with a twist. Slightly bigger low end and scooped mids from the shorter scale.

Sound better than the 305 model. They have a little bit more definition and mid-range bite.

Like a bassier, smoother P bass

They do a very clear modern sound. A little bit more open sounding with those pickup holes. Not particularly interesting tone, quite neutral.

He had a pretty good experience with them. They stay in tune relatively well. The tuners and pickups could be improved. Not spectacular, but very solid.

CV 60s Jazz Bass

Middle-of-the-road jazz bass sounds

CV 70s Precision Bass

Agressive, mid-rangey, a little bass light.

Bronco Bass

A bright traditional tone. Not a powerful sound.

Aggressive, punchy, plenty of hi-mids
