Maui is an inspiring and much-loved character from the Disney movie Moana. With his bravery and strength, he is a source of admiration for many. His light-hearted, humorous personality brings much warmth and joy to the story.

Moana is a determined, positive and energetic individual who is the daughter of the leader of the island of Motunui. She is content with her life on the island but is drawn to the sea. When her island is in danger from a sinister force, Moana leaves her familiar surroundings and ventures out beyond the reef to correct a wrong, protect her community, and discover the truth she has been seeking throughout her life.

Te Fiti is a significant character who possesses the power of creation, which she employed to form the islands of Polynesia.
Villain

In addition to encountering a large crustacean, Moana and Maui also face opposition from the Kakamora, which are small humanoid creatures made of coconuts. Though they may appear charming, they can be dangerous when working together. The Kakamora represents the first obstacle Moana and Maui face on their journey together.

Tamatoa is a 50-foot crab who resides in Lalotai, the land of monsters, with a very high opinion of himself. He is not content being a "bottom feeder" and compensates for this by decorating himself with everything that is shiny.

Mini Maui, the semi-immortal demigod from Disney's Moana, is a force to be reckoned with. With his magical fish hook and mischievous antics, along with his loyal and devoted heart, he is a true friend. Mini Maui is playful and adventurous, and his enthusiastic nature is a breath of fresh air.
