Organise telephone, internet, gas, electricity, Foxtel connections

Arrange for mail to be redirected

Notify bank that your address has changed

Purchase Boxes

Purchase packaging aterial (bubble wrap, etc.)

Packaging tape (for boxes)

Pack a small box with items required for first night in the house (linen, towels, cutlery, etc.)

Defrost, empty, dry out and air your refrigerator

Label boxes clearly

Dismantle furniture, and attach screws in a noticeable place

Create a folder for all your moving documents

Check any moving instructions for your washing machine with manufacturer

Esky (for perishable fridge items)

Plastic lined boxes for indoor plants

First aid kit

Arrange parking and access for removalist van/vans
