Upper Mustang Trek
Upper Mustang is the best trekking destination in Nepal during August. Located in the Himalayan rain shadow, it receives very little rainfall, making the trails dry and comfortable. The trek offers dramatic desert-like landscapes, ancient caves, centuries-old monasteries, and the unique Tibetan-influenced culture of the former Kingdom of Lo.
