It is the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, which was released in 2017. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humans live among mechanical creatures and ancient ruins. The player takes on the role of Aloy, a skilled hunter and archer, as she embarks on a journey to explore the frontier and uncover the secrets of the past. The game features open-world exploration, combat against robotic creatures, puzzle-solving, and crafting. Horizon Forbidden West is set to be released in 2021 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
