Amadablam Expedition
The Amadablam Expedition is a thrilling climb to one of Nepal’s most striking mountains, standing at 6,812 meters (22,349 ft). Known as the "Matterhorn of the Himalayas," Amadablam rises sharply above the Everest region and is admired for its steep, beautiful shape.
This climb is for experienced mountaineers. It involves technical rock, snow, and ice climbing, especially on the upper sections. The expedition usually takes 25–30 days, starting from Lukla and passing through famous Sherpa villages like Namche Bazaar.
Climbers stay in teahouses along the approach trail, then move to tents at higher camps. With the help of trained guides, Sherpas, and proper acclimatization, the Amadablam Expedition offers an unforgettable challenge and breathtaking views of Everest and the surrounding peaks.
