Dog Bed
A dog bed in addition to the crate is comforting for your new puppy. It should be placed in a common area of the house where a watchful eye can be kept on the puppy at all times. Chewing or destroying the dog bed should be discouraged, and a toy should be used as a distraction and redirection of the puppy's urge to chew.
