When you attend college, it takes away from the time when you’re supposed to be working and earning money to build your retirement fund. Even if you might earn the minimum wage at first, building your nest egg at an early age gives it more time to grow and possibly allow you to retire earlier than those who went to college.
Many of those who go to college were conditioned from an early age that it is the only path to success. But the workforce is so much different now from what it was just a decade ago, and going to college is no longer that relevant for many new and exciting careers that have sprung.
