$920.00

Dos Artes is among the finest examples of tequila ever conjured by man or deity. Each bottle puts a handmade charm on full display; Dos Artes collects tequilas that are the product of two different artisans from Mexico: the one who makes the tequila itself (the “tequilero”) and the ceramic artist who creates the bottle.

Each bottle is a completely custom work of art, hand-painted with decades of experience and skill behind every brushstroke. Making each bottle unique is a 72-hour process from start to finish — the bottle is formed, baked, hand-painted and finished by a Mexican artist, creating a gorgeous and authentic piece of artwork to display in your home after you’ve finished the bottle.

Of course, the tequila itself is every bit as special. Dos Artes is smooth as silk and has notes of caramel at the finish. It is delicious straight or on the rocks. This is the ultimate small-batch, authentic Mexican tequila and whether you go with their tequila añejo, extra añejo, clanco, cowboy boot or another flavor, you’re getting the ultimate handmade prize.

Casa Dragones Pedro Reyes Epicuro Special Edition Tequila Joven

Casa Dragones Pedro Reyes Epicuro Special Edition Tequila Joven

Casa Dragones
  • Joven
  • Vanilla
  • Pear
  • Hazelnut
$1,510.00

Reyes’ repertoire of work is largely inspired by the ideas of the philosopher Epicurus, whose teachings on wellbeing are artfully translated into sculptures by Reyes. Here, he’s chosen one of his pieces, “Epicuro” (2016), a 1.8-meter tall sculpture he carved from volcanic rock, to portray with pepita. With this representation of “Epicuro,” the Casa Dragones crystal decanter’s typical delicate engravings encircling its neck and base have been traded for a single, elegantly hand-engraved design. Each of the 400 bottles made in this collection has been crafted with meticulous attention to detail and represent an approach to life. “Epicuro”, both the original sculpture and this portrayal, embodies the delight in freedom from pain and fear. By pivoting the question of “how to be good” into “how to be happy,” the philosopher helped open up the path to self-awareness and wellness as a form of peace. Very pleased to be a part of Reyes’ innovative artistic vision and to explore Mexican craftsmanship in new creative contexts.
