The Falconeer is a new take on air combat. A 3rd person game that puts you in control of a Falconeer, an airborne warrior. Using ranged weapons the game still holds true to classic dogfighting mechanics but adds twists such as acrobatics and crazy line up of enemies to take on. You'll fight other Falconeer's, but also large lumbering airships, flying beetles, manta rays and of course the dragon-like weavers.

The story revolves around a singular conflict, but as a player you'll get to play and experience it from as many angles as you want, offering you access to all the factions involved.

The Falconeer is an open-world game. Meaning that a reasonable chunk of the Ursee can be explored and engaged freely. With different factions and their settlements and bases responding to your actions and faction allegiance.

Watch Dogs Legion takes the hacking gameplay that has made the series so well-known and then gives you London and all its inhabitants to use it against. Set in a post-Brexit dystopian London, you don't play as a single-protagonist anymore, but rather a team of hackers that you've built yourself, by choosing from the vast plethora of NPCs that make up London's residents. Each will have their own backstory, skills and abilities, strengths and weaknesses, and can also suffer from a touch of the old permadeath. So be careful with your spy grandma. Elsewhere you'll be hacking the drones and other tech that makes up London's infrastructure and security, in order to take down DedSec once again.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is an action role-playing game based on the World of Darkness pen-and-paper RPG. Players will get into the skin of Cahal, a warrior werewolf from the Fianna tribe, fighting against an invasive corporation dead-set on destroying the environment.

Former Quantic Dream design lead Caroline Marchal heads up the new studio INTERIOR/NIGHT behind this interactive drama, featuring a strong team of veterans from places like Bioware, Sony London, and even Pixar. Set in the American Southwest, as Dusk Falls is a multi-generational story that begins with two families caught up in a hostage situation. The story that unfolds takes place over decades and explores how mistakes can be passed on from generation to generation.

Atomic Heart is an action RPG game. The story is about all the things that could have happened in the reality of the USSR but didn’t. Technical revolution has already occurred, robots, the Internet, holograms have already been invented, but all these innovations are immersed in the atmosphere of communism, imperialism and confrontation with the West. The protagonist of the game, a Soviet Special Duty KGB officer, ends up at one of the Complexes of the Facility 3826 during a massive robot control system malfunction. The game world consists of huge open-world regions full of lush Soviet nature and less spacious territories of the Facility complexes with its secret underground and above-ground labs, bunkers and robotic logistics systems. Most of the enemies are a variety of machines produced at the Facility. Each robot was originally made to serve the needs of the Soviet industry or to help Soviet citizens in a daily life. The robots are implemented with a combat program that should be activated in case of a war.

Avowed is a brand new title from Obsidian Entertainment, the studio behind The Outer Worlds and Fallout New Vegas. This is another first-person RPG that will no doubt build on the studio's penchant for epic adventures filled with memorable characters and a hint of the silly. We're off to a fantasy world called Eora for this one, and it looks pretty darn impressive, if much darker in tone than we'd usually expect from Obsidian. You've got magical abilities, a really cool sword and you will find yourself facing some seriously big monsters by the looks of things too.

Swedish developer DICE is finishing up its commitments to Star Wars: Battlefront II and Battlefield V, and moving on to the next proper Battlefield game. Battlefield 6, or whatever it ends up being called, is scheduled to arrive in 2021. The most recent games, Battlefield V and Battlefield 1, took place during World War II and World War I, respectively, but there is no word yet as to the time period of the new instalment. The franchise hasn't returned to a modern warfare setting since the tepidly received spin-off Battlefield Hardline in 2015.
