Switch to clean electricity source (for electric or hybrid cars)
recharge your car from clean electric source where energy is generated without burning carbon. Some examples - Dam , wind turbines, solar panels etc ( check with your electric power supplier what source they are generating electricity from ) This is NOT recommended if they burn fossil fuel to make electricity as the energy conversion loss is even higher than directly using gas in car.
