Inspect distortion at the poles
Look straight up and down in the intended viewer, where equirectangular stretching is most visible. Watch for pinched geometry, duplicated objects and unexpected text. Compare with the flat source and note whether the distortion matters at the actual viewing angle. If the poles are distracting, revise the composition or keep important details away from the extreme top and bottom. This is a proposed visual review, not a claim that any output has been tested.
