Considered one of the pioneers of Chinese rock, who was first inspired by illegally smuggled in rock albums from The Beatles and Rolling stones. Funnily enough his band actually sticks out more to me, they definitely have a unique sound. Here is a rough translation of some lyrics to give you an idea of what he sings about -> "I wanna walk from south to north, from dawn to dark. I wanna be seen by everyone, without being known who I am. I wanna see your pretty, but not your suffering. I want the water from heaven, but not your tears. I dont believe in devils, but nor am I against it. Don't try to know who I am, nor the hypocritical part of me."
