In-game, it affects spiders, cave spiders, silverfish, Bees, and Endermites. Bane of Arthropods increases the amount of damage dealt to these types of enemies. The effect adds 2.5 extra damage per level for every hit. At level one, 1-1.5 seconds of Slowness IV will be dealt to the arthropod; the limit is increased by 0.5 seconds per level of BoA (up to 3.5 seconds). It can have a power level of up to V.
