Sarutobi Konohamaru, a member of Konohagakure's Sarutobi clan, is a skilled ninja who ascends to the rank of jōnin. He subsequently takes on the role of a genin team leader, mentoring young ninjas. Nevertheless, Hinata didn't give up and took inspiration from Naruto Uzumaki, whom she observed closely. As a member of Team 8, she aimed to improve herself and become stronger gradually. After a few years following the Fourth Shinobi World War, Hinata married Naruto and joined the Uzumaki clan.

Kiba Inuzuka, a ninja from the Inuzuka clan of Konohagakure, is part of Team Kurenai. Despite his sometimes arrogant and impulsive behavior, Kiba is a fiercely loyal comrade who will go to great lengths to protect his friends. Accompanied by his trusted dog partner, Akamaru, Kiba is always ready to jump into action.

Shino Aburame is a member of the Aburame clan, a group of shinobi from Konohagakure. He is a reserved individual who can come off as strange to some, but he is an important member of Team Kurenai and makes great use of his clan's insect-based techniques. In more recent years, Shino has taken on the role of an Academy teacher.

Nevertheless, he compensates for his deficiencies by undergoing specialized taijutsu training from Might Guy, which makes him an exceptional master of this art even while still a genin.

Neji Hyūga (日向ネジ, Hyūga Neji) hailed from Konohagakure's Hyūga clan, and was widely regarded as a prodigy, even among his talented kin. However, he was born into the clan's branch house, and thus was bound to serve the main house regardless of his exceptional abilities. This fatalistic view of life led him to believe that destiny was predetermined and unchangeable. However, through his experiences with Naruto Uzumaki, who refused to be held back by such beliefs, Neji learned that one's fate was ultimately their own choice. As a member of Team Guy, Neji sought the strength to shape his own future and protect those he held dear, and ultimately gave his life to defend Naruto, who had taught him the importance of free will.

A member of Team Guy, Tenten (テンテン) is a kunoichi from Konohagakure who aspired to be like the legendary Sannin Tsunade. However, she soon realized that her chakra control was insufficient to become a medical-nin. Nevertheless, Tenten refused to give up on her dream of becoming a powerful kunoichi, focusing instead on honing her skills in weaponry and fūinjutsu.

Baki is a Suna-nin who wears the customary attire consisting of a flak jacket and forehead protector. He is quite tall and has two unique red markings on the right side of his face (also visible on the left side in the anime), which are the only visible part of his head. His turban-like headgear covers the rest of his head, with a sheet hanging from it on the left side of his face.

Gaara, a shinobi of Sunagakure, became the jinchūriki of the One-Tailed Shukaku even before he was born, which made the villagers of Suna perceive him as a monster. This lack of acceptance led to his isolation, causing Gaara to grow up with a deep hatred for the world and becoming focused solely on his own survival, resorting to killing those he encountered to give his life meaning. However, after being defeated by Naruto Uzumaki, another jinchūriki who found strength in his bonds with others, Gaara starts to change. He decides to emulate Naruto's behavior and eventually becomes the Fifth Kazekage of Suna, also known as the "Fifth Wind Shadow." His newfound position allows him to protect the village and all its inhabitants, working to dispel the fears and stigma he once cast on them.

Kankurō, a shinobi from Sunagakure, is the second oldest of the Three Sand Siblings. Although he was initially afraid of his younger brother, Kankurō eventually began to support him and his aspiration to become the Kazekage, a position previously held by their father. He ultimately became one of Gaara's closest defenders, advisors, and protectors.

In Part II, she dons a Konohagakure forehead protector and a sleeveless purple vest over a violet t-shirt, along with a layered skirt and mid-thigh boots.

Wasabi also has a cat tail attached to her waist by the belt loops of her shorts. Upon graduating, she is seen wearing a dark green forehead protector.

Her white eyes are large, which is common among members of her clan, and in the anime, they have a hint of lilac. She takes after her father in appearance. During Part I, Hanabi wore a blue v-neck shirt without sleeves, with mesh armor underneath, blue shorts, and sandals.

Metal also appears to be well-read and knowledgeable, particularly about the current Kage, though interestingly, he is unaware of Naruto's strength.

Iwabee Yuino (結乃イワベエ, Yuino Iwabee) is a genin from Konohagakure who had consistently demonstrated excellence throughout his time at the Academy. However, due to his poor academic test scores, he was held back several times. He is currently part of Team 5, together with Metal Lee and Denki Kaminarimon.

Udon Ise is a Shinobi hailing from Konohagakure, where he serves as the captain of Team 5 in Boruto: The Next Generation. He was a member of the Konohamaru Gang and can also be recognized from the first two seasons of Naruto as the guy who frequently has a snort around his right nostril.

Orochimaru, also known as the Great Snake Sannin, is a legendary ninja from Konohagakure. He has an insatiable desire to uncover all of the world's secrets and seeks immortality in order to live long enough to achieve his goal. However, when he was caught conducting unethical experiments on his fellow villagers, he left Konoha to avoid persecution. For many years, he sought revenge on the village and aimed to demonstrate what he had learned. Despite seemingly dying several times in pursuit of his goals, he eventually realized the flaws in his approach thanks to his former associate, Kabuto Yakushi. As a result, he began monitoring the actions of his former apprentice, Sasuke Uchiha.

Kabuto Yakushi, also known as Yakushi Kabuto (薬師カブト), spent a significant portion of his life as a spy working for various individuals, organizations, and countries. His natural talents in intelligence gathering and medicine drew the attention of Orochimaru, who appointed Kabuto as his right-hand man. Although Kabuto gained significant knowledge of the world while working for Orochimaru, he eventually realizes that his life of serving others has prevented him from developing his own identity. Consequently, he seeks power and becomes a key player in the Fourth Shinobi World War, leveraging his influence to find his place in the world. After finding his sense of self, Kabuto returns to Konohagakure to run an orphanage and aid others like himself in finding their own paths.

Obito Uchiha was a member of Konohagakure's Uchiha clan who was believed to have died during the Third Shinobi World War. However, he was saved from death by Madara and trained by him. Obito inherited Madara's plan to create an ideal world and became disillusioned with reality after the events of the war. He resurfaced under the names Tobi and Madara Uchiha and took control of the Akatsuki, using them to further his own goals. Eventually, he started the Fourth Shinobi World War. Towards the end of the war, Obito had a change of heart and sacrificed himself to save the world he sought to replace as atonement. His only surviving legacy was the Sharingan he gave to his teammate, Kakashi Hatake.

Zetsu has demonstrated the capacity to divide himself into two distinct personalities, enabling each to operate autonomously. He can also perform a spore jutsu that grows into a pulpy substance around numerous targets at once, absorbing their chakra while simultaneously replenishing the chakra of another individual.

Konan is a minor character in the Naruto manga and anime series. As the sole female member of the Akatsuki, she was partnered with Nagato and referred to him by his real name. After leaving the Akatsuki, she became the leader of Amegakure. Konan is voiced by Atsuko Tanaka in the Japanese version of the series and by Dorothy Elias-Fahn in the English version.

Nagato, also known as Pain, was a shinobi from Amegakure and a descendant of the Uzumaki clan. He co-founded Akatsuki with his fellow war orphans and friends, Yahiko and Konan, with the goal of achieving peace in the violent shinobi world. After Yahiko's death, Nagato took on the Pain alias and led a new iteration of Akatsuki alongside Konan, using any means necessary to bring about peace through force.

Itachi Uchiha, a member of the Uchiha clan from Konohagakure, was a former Anbu Captain who eventually became an infamous criminal after slaughtering his entire clan except for his brother, Sasuke. He then joined the global criminal organization, Akatsuki, leading to numerous confrontations with Konoha and its ninja, including Sasuke, who sought to avenge their family's murder by killing Itachi. However, after his death, Itachi's true motives were revealed to be more complex than initially thought, and his actions were always in the best interest of his brother and village, making him a loyal shinobi of Konohagakure until the end.

Deidara (デイダラ) was a member of Iwagakure's Explosion Corps and an S-rank missing-nin who later joined Akatsuki. Despite being the youngest member, Deidara quickly proved himself as a formidable fighter. He was initially partnered with Sasori until his death, after which he worked with Tobi until his own demise.

Hidan (飛段) was once a member of Yugakure but became an S-rank missing-nin after defecting from the village. He joined the Akatsuki and is a follower of Jashin, a deity of death. Hidan was paired with Kakuzu, although they had a mutual dislike for each other. At the time of Tobi's introduction, he was the second newest member of Akatsuki. The duo of Hidan and Kakuzu were mockingly referred to as the Zombie Combo (ゾンビコンビ, Zonbi Konbi, English TV: Zombie Pair) by Kisame Hoshigaki.

Kakuzu (角都) was an S-rank missing-nin from Takigakure who joined Akatsuki and was paired with Hidan, forming what Kisame Hoshigaki referred to as the Zombie Combo (ゾンビコンビ, Zonbi Konbi, English TV: Zombie Pair). Kakuzu's unique ability to stitch together body parts allowed him to cheat death multiple times, which added to their nickname.

Madara Uchiha (うちはマダラ, Uchiha Madara) was a legendary figure who served as the leader of the Uchiha clan. Alongside his childhood friend and rival, Hashirama Senju, Madara co-founded Konohagakure with the goal of establishing an era of peace. However, their diverging perspectives on how to achieve that peace led to a bitter conflict for control of the village, which ultimately resulted in Madara's apparent demise. In reality, Madara rewrote his death and went into hiding to continue working on his plans. He later entrusted his knowledge and strategies to Obito before his actual death. Although Madara was eventually revived, his plans were ultimately thwarted, leading him to realize his mistakes and seek reconciliation with Hashirama before his final passing.

The Ōtsutsuki Clan (大筒木一族, Ōtsutsuki Ichizoku) are ancient beings with horns and are often referred to as celestial beings (天津人, amatsubito),[1] or even extraterrestrial (宇宙人, uchūjin).[2][3] As a parasitic species, their goal is to carry out the Ōtsutsuki Will (大筒木の意志, Ōtsutsuki no Ishi) by consuming the life force and genetic material of other worlds to evolve continuously, with the ultimate goal of achieving godhood. Their arrival on Earth dates back to Kaguya's appearance a millennium ago and since then, they have had a significant impact on humanity, specifically in the origins of shinobi history.

Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, a member of the Ōtsutsuki clan and the matriarch of a branch family, which included her children Hagoromo and Hamura, consumed the fruit of the God Tree during a time of unending war, long before the establishment of hidden villages. As a result, she became the first to possess chakra on Earth, and eventually fused with the tree to become the Ten-Tails.

Momoshiki Ōtsutsuki (大筒木モモシキ, Ōtsutsuki Momoshiki) belonged to the main family of the Ōtsutsuki clan and was dispatched to locate Kaguya and her God Tree. Later, he tried to grow a new one using the chakra of the Seventh Hokage but was defeated by Boruto Uzumaki, who inadvertently gained a Kāma from Momoshiki, enabling the latter's spirit to persist through the mark.

Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, a member of the Ōtsutsuki clan's main family, initially arrived on Earth with Kaguya to plant a God Tree and harvest chakra fruit. However, Kaguya betrayed him, leaving him for dead. Isshiki managed to survive by taking possession of a nearby monk named Jigen and placing a Kāma on him. As Jigen, he became the leader of Kara and continued the plan to plant a new God Tree and harvest a new chakra fruit. He also embedded a Kāma on a boy named Kawaki for his eventual resurrection. However, he was forced to be resurrected through Jigen and ultimately met his demise, with his soul being permanently extinguished. Before his death, he entrusted Code, his most loyal follower and failed vessel, with the task of continuing the Ōtsutsuki Will.
