One of the last vestige of old Hong Kong, cooked food centres are where the freshest ingredients come straight from the wet markets and a comfy dining experience is not a priority. The Sheung Wan, or Queen Street Cooked Food Centre in particular, offers a wide range of dishes from different cultures. From Vietnamese, Indian and Italian (check out ABC Kitchen), or some wonderfully delicious dumplings. All dishes are friendly on the wallet.
There are many different cooked food markets across Hong Kong! Check them out.
A personal list of places in Hong Kong I recommend all my family and friends to check out if it's their first time in my hometown! Whether it's only just one day or a week, pick and choose which places pique your interests and go for it. Happy exploring! Also, check out my next list, Places to EAT in Hong Kong, coming soon. Enjoy!
