Hi, I'm Dabi, but you can call me Dabz. This is my list of Dystopian Books recommendations. Dystopian is a genre of books, movies, or TV shows that portray a fictional society as undesirable or frightening, often considered the opposite of a utopia. A utopian book, on the other hand, presents a society where everything appears perfect.

Although the majority of dystopian books I've read are set in the future, they can also be imaginary or fictional societies that are simply flawed or have experienced some type of catastrophe. Some dystopian books overtly display that everything is going awry, like The Hunger Games, while others, such as The Giver, seem flawless but are not. The inspiration for this list came from my current Language Arts unit, which focuses on dystopian literature, and our book club readings.
